The Remington 700 Tactical bedding block stock has a full length bedding block that is machined from solid aluminum. Unlike most manufacturers bedding blocks, the Remington 700 Tactical stock bottoms out and rotates up or down for easy trigger reach and is rattle free. Tactical stocks have extra metal on the bottom of the stock for gripping stability when firing with a scope mounted on the stock. The extra material on the bedding block keeps it from flexing and causing problems with rattle when shooting with a bipod attached. This stock has a very aggressive tread pattern on the bottom of the bedding block that helps prevent the bedding block from coming loose and snagging on clothing when shooting with a bipod. There is extra metal on the bedding block to attach a Rifle Scope, action screws and/or front sight. There is also extra metal on the bottom of the bedding block to attach a monopod or shooting with a monopod. The cheek weld attaches to the bottom of the bedding block with a bar nut that fits our included hardware.
