The side folding stock for the Winchester 1200/1300/1400 shotguns feature a forend radius that is not quite long enough for most shooters. With the short end removed the rifle will only fold to the left side a few inches. Now you can have the same side folding stock for your Winchester shotgun! The lock back system will hold the shotgun stock in the open position for hunting or tactical situations and the lock back system will hold your shotgun in the closed position for absolute security. The 1300/1400 has a very heavy hinge pin from the factory so it will need to be checked against the gun for proper alignment. The hinge pin needs to be filed smooth all the way down to prevent any possible snagging while holding the rifle stock open. The hinge pin needs to be filed smooth also , this will prolong the life of the hinge pin. The material is strong and will not bend or deform over time. Uses a 4140 for the hinge pin, extremely tough and will not wear out that easily like soft plastic stocks sometimes do. All the bedding blocks are done in-house on our CNC machines.
