This Pacific model has a canvas micarta handle and a KG Gun-Kote finished blade with a partially serrated edge.
The Chris Reeve Pacific fixed blade knife features a double row of serrations, on both sides of the blade, which provides extremely aggressive cutting of fibrous material. A glass breaker/striker at the back of the handle is convenient and effective in an emergency. Grooves in the micarta, mirrored on the tang, provide extra grip, especially for gloved hands. The Pacific comes outfitted with an ACU Combat Master SpecOps Brand sheath.
Continuing the proud tradition of Chris Reeve Knives honoring elite military, this Reeve/Harsey collaboration is the civilian version of a design created to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1st Special Forces Group. Based in Ft. Lewis, WA, 1st Groups theater of operations is Asia and the Pacific, so the name Pacific has been chosen to honor the home and work place of these fine soldiers.
