When you want the most compact bufferless AR15 upper without stepping into SBR territory the 14.5" DISSENT upper chambered in 5.56x45mm is a solid bet. With the ZEROED SVD muzzle brake pinned and welded to the barrel, the total length is brought up to 16.1" which means no NFA paperwork if you want to run with a stock.

Utilizing our patent pending direct impingement Compact Action, DISSENT upper groups house the entire action and recoil assembly in the upper receiver resulting in less bulk and length than traditional AR pistols. The forward non-reciprocating side charger allows for quick bolt operation without coming off target. Direct impingement DISSENTS come equipped with a left side charger standard. All DISSENT Upper groups include a lower receiver end plate and choice of adapter including: 1913 Picatinny rail, buffer tube adapter, or DISSENT folding stock. DISSENT Upper groups are available in your choice from seven Cerakote finish options or hard coat anodized.
