Does this have the bookbag straps like the double case?

This does not have bookbag straps, but has a single center-mounted strap to be used like a cross-body sling.

will this case hold an ar15 wit the scope mounted or does the scope need to be take off every time

This should hold a rifle with a scope mounted. The internal dimensions are 13"H x 37"W x 2"D so a mounted scope should be no problem.
