The best part is that you don't need to waste time trying to find the right one, when it's already attached to your MOLLE carrier. The mag pouch has a kind of magic that allows you to pull two magazines out of the same pouch, just by shifting the position of your MOLLE carrier. The two mags in each compartment snap securely into place, so you don't have to fumble in order to get them out of the two mag pouches. Also, the back of the mag pouches are flat, so you can fully seat the magazines, making it easier to reload.
