This also prevents unintentional sling migration, so you can keep your firearm tight to your body, without having to keep reallocating how and where you place the sling. In addition, the quick release swivels allow you to quickly remove the sling, and place it back in its original sling position, without having to realign them. This versatility allows you to quickly shift from 1 to 1 point sling to another, while using the same body movement.
