The Condor Cloudburst Axe features a 1060 High Carbon Steel blade with a Edge-reducing satin finish and a cutting edge that is rounded for comfort. The Cloudburst Axe is American Hickory-slabbed for a sure grip in any condition, and solidly built to last. These axes provide the peace of mind to have a full-size forestry axe, be it for cutting down a small tree or buckthorn to blaze a trail to a stand. The Cloudburst Axe provides a forward mounted Talon hammer tip that minimizes risk of losing the users hand when using the axe as a weapon.
