Columbia River Onion Skinner Fixed Knife K700KXP is a premium-grade hunting and skinning knife with five years of hands-on development behind it. This Columbia River knife features a three-quarter tang Bohler K110 stainless steel blade, high hollow-ground and polished to a satin finish with a hardness of HRC 58-60. The scales of the knife are Twin-Fused with a glass filled nylon core and soft textured TPR outside for grip. The CRKT Ken Onion Skinner Plain Edge Fixed Knife includes a custom leather knife sheath that is molded and fitted to grip the scales and lock the knife in position until needed. CRKT has equipped the knife with a thin tip, so no caping knife is needed for detail work. The top of the blade also has a pronounced "camel hump", which allows the hunter to insert the tip under the skin and rock the hand back, which raises the tip up and away from the paunch. The tip has a straight section at an offset angle, making the knife a useful utility and cooking tool around camp, and the short 3.75" blade length has proven perfect for the pencil grip favored by many hunters.
