The Demco 6052 Hijacker Upgrade Kit is compatible with 16K Premier-Series Ultra Slide Hitches # 8550026 and #8550019. The addition of these side load brackets to the Premier-Series Ultra Slide fifth wheel hitches will boost the overall capacity rating of the hitch from 16,000 lbs. to 21,000 lbs. towing capacity. Loosely assemble complete fifth wheel hitch assembly and attach the 21K upgrade bracket that has the decal so it is facing towards tailgate of tow vehicle. Attach using the rear roller bolts and nuts and both the front and rear spacer bolts and nuts. Use the extra 1/2" bolts, nuts and washers supplied with kit for the front bracket. Attach the other bracket to rear of hitch assembly. Tighten the top roller bolts only to snug. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. The bottom bolts can be tightened to 80-90 lbs. This kit includes: two 0.50 flat washers (#00085), two 0.50NC x 3.50 hex head bolts (#01897), two 0.50NC lock nuts (#02178) and two ULS 21K braces (#14534-76).
