Purchasing DEMO products allows you to acquire elite merchandise at a significantly reduced price from OpticsPlanet. Most DEMO items listed on our site are factory refurbished models while others were previously unpacked and used for testing, display, sampling, training or demonstration purposes by the manufacturer or OpticsPlanet. Since OpticsPlanet is an authorized dealer or partners with trusted distribution channels for all items that we sell, you can be certain that you are buying a great brand name product from a reputable dealer at a special, limited-quantity only price.

We are dedicated to assuring that all DEMO products are:

• Performing like-new upon receipt. All DEMO items are manufacturer approved or inspected by our product experts to ensure proper performance.

• Covered by the Terms and Conditions of our Return Policy. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with a purchase, you may return most items within 30 days of receipt for an exchange or full refund.

• Protected by a manufacturer’s warranty. For more information about warranty terms, please contact us.

• Frequently available in a non-DEMO model. If you would like a new version of the given item, please select the "NEW" option on the individual product page to have the "NEW" item entered into your Shopping Cart.

Please note that DEMO items may arrive with cosmetic differences to either the packaging and/or product itself compared to the non-DEMO version.

Used Product Policy

At OpticsPlanet, we offer used products at big discounts! These items come in a variety of conditions, including open box, repackaged, scratched/dented, or previously installed. The condition of each item—ranging from like-new to salvage/parts only—is listed on the product page.

Important Details:

• All Sales are Final: Used products are sold as-is and cannot be returned or exchanged. 
• Warranties & Service: Manufacturer warranties, direct returns, or attempts for service, repair, or replacements to the original manufacturer are unavailable for used items purchased through OpticsPlanet. 
• Limited Availability: Used products are listed on the same product pages as new items and are available in limited quantities on a first-come, first-serve basis. No extra photos are provided - only the original product images. 
• Condition Information: We cannot provide detailed descriptions for each item due to the high volume of used products.
• No Additional Discounts: Coupons, promotions, or other discounts do not apply to used items.

How We Assess Used Products:

1. Return Condition: We check for physical wear, missing parts, previous use, installation, or damaged/missing packaging.
2. Quality Rating: Items are classified from Like-New to Salvage/Parts Only. If the exact quality is unknown, we will label it accordingly.
3. Functionality Check: If applicable, we test whether the item works, works intermittently, or does not work at all.

Your Responsibility as a Buyer:

We recommend testing your item as soon as you receive it. By purchasing a used product, you accept any risks related to its condition and performance.
