I have a model 70 in 30-06 and a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9 x 40 mm scope. Will the low rings with 1-inch tube diameter work for this setup? Expert Answer

With a 40mm objective lens, you can use low height rings without an issue. I would recommend using the DNZ Winchester Model 70 Long Action 1 Inch Scope Tube base in a low height, found using the following link:
