This is absolutely the BEST scope mount for the Marlin 39A. Fits perfectly and it clears the rear factory sight just fine for a Leupold 4.5-14x40 scope. Its positioned so there is plenty of front and back movement for setting eye relief.

Marlin 39A-High Mount fits both left and right hand firearms. Base screws are 8-40 x 1/4in long. Ring screws are 6-40 x 5/8in long. Base screws use a 9/64in Allen wrench and ring screws use a 7/64in Allen wrench. Outside to outside of rings is 4.5 inches. Standard rings are 0.63in wide and have 2 screws per ring. 2 Hole to hole spacing dimension is 1.99in. Height of mount from top of receiver to centerline of scope tube is 1.19in.image
