The Jenner 150-Watt Halogn Lamp, Class A, Spectrally Corrected for Color, is a high-intensity intense short-wave infrared filament lamp that is sensitive to changes in the surrounding medium. It is used for color critical applications such as transmission gratings in electron microscopy, or it can be used as a germicidal UV lamp in a germicidal halogen upright microscope to reduce background glow in the field. The lamp color is unchangeable during the life of the microscope, so a bulb change is not required. The color quality remains unchanged during the life of the bulb. There is no filament breakage during the life of the bulb. The filaments are easily changed without any special tools. The lamp comes with a three year warranty, unlimited hours, and a five year lamp life.
