Do I need to change buffer spring from carbine to rifle length? If so could you please recommend one.

I saw somewhere you can get a .5 or 1 inch butt pad with it. Is that true? I need the extra .5 inch of the one inch pad for length. Expert Answer

For installation purposes the pad on the end is removable. There isn't an additional buttpad though.
