Product Info for DPM Heckler & Koch VP-40 & SFP-40 Mechanical Recoil Reduction System

The Mechanical Recoil Rod Reducer System is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod that does not change the configuration of the gun. This Recoil Reduction System by DPM features three springs (three operating groups) that are contained within the rod and control the functionality of the gun. The third spring within the DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System rod controls the movement of the slide so it never rams on the frame. The two external springs (one heavy and one Light) accompany this Recoil Reduction System. The lighter weight spring applies pressure to the front of the slide when the slide is fully homed and the heavier weight spring applies pressure to the rear of the slide when it is fully homed. The lighter weight spring creates a lighter and more compact system. This DPM Pistol Slide Reducer System also fully supports the firing pin (sold separately) resulting in better shooter control. Included with the DPM Mechanical Recoil System for Heckler & Koch are direct replacements for the stock recoil rod and do not change the configuration of the gun. Please note that the DPM Recoil Rod System is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod and does not change the configuration of the gun.image
