The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod and does not change the configuration of the pistol. These external springs are different in length (also in power) so the user can fine-tune the system to serve all possible shooting needs. The longer spring (more coils) is stronger and has a heavier pound rating than the shorter springs.

The spring plug with the marked groove is offering a heavier buffer effect and the spring plug with flat surface offers a lighter buffer effect (slide full open position).
