Hello John, unfortunately it is not compatible with the Gen1. The compatible one is the SKU: 1000049

I did notice definite felt recoil reduction and less muzzle flip on practice ammo but when used with the full power cast bear loads I got failure to fires with all springs went back to factory spring set.
