When a long, narrow pipet is required, a special syringe with a long, narrow mouth can be used, but only one at a time. It is recommended that the syringe being used for any procedure that requires regular syringe exchange be used. The syringe retention system will ensure that the same syringe is used for all procedures that do not require a long, narrow mouth. The extra-long stem extends to almost twice the length of the standard length to enhance aspirate flow and to minimize clogging. The long stem prevents excessive wear on some pipets used for very viscous fluids. Protective cap keeps syringes clean and allows access to bottle necks for replacement. The ergonomic design provides a secure grip while reducing hand fatigue.
