Tychem SL fabric features interlock knit cuffs that are reinforced for increased puncture resistance and strength, in addition to the abrasion-resistant properties of the woven nylon fabric. Tychem SL fabric also helps provide a measure of comfort with the feel of cotton. Garments are designed to allow flexible range of movement, such as when moving furniture or sitting in a truck. Garment-lock seems to work well, as in the ability to keep from twisting in the wind and to maintain a like-new look throughout a long shift. Tychem SL fabric exhibits excellent tensile strength and unusually strong at small openings. Tychem SL fabric exhibits excellent abrasion resistance with only a minimal shrinkage rate. Tychem SL fabric also shows excellent resistance to light liquid splashes and powders. Garments are medium weight and designed to allow for easy layering with other Dupont fabrics.
