These Tyvek SL aprons offer light-weight, one-sheet fabric protection against a range of strong acids, aldehydes, and organic solvents. Tyvek SL fabric offers a number of unique features that provide good protection against a range of strong, short-chain solvents, including acetone, chloroform, and isopropanol. Provides some resistance to these strong astringents, but not enough to draw or carry over your head. May be stained by some solvents, but will not transfer. Tyvek SL fabric shows good resistance to abrasive spills at close-range. Not recommended for use with organic strong aldehyde fumes. Not to be used with strong acid fumes at close-range. Tyvek SL fabric also shows good resistance to blood, which may be absorbed by the perforations. These aprons are manufactured without chlorine or bromine.
