Product Info for Dutton-Lainson Dutton Lainson Horizontal Pulling Winch With Ratchet Standard 400 Lb.

Dutton-Lainson's DL400 (16001) Winch is a hand/manual/pulling/ratchet winch for horizontal pulling applications. It has a 400 lb. weight capacity and an 11" ratcheting handle with a vinyl sleeve. The DL400 Winch features freewheel operation for easy line removal. Designed for personal watercrafts or other light applications with insufficient room for a 360 rotational handle. Other features include: 5/8" drum hub diameter, 1:1 gear ratio and a 1/8" x 87' cable size and reel capacity. NOTE: This winch is built for horizontal pulling applications. Features a zinc plated TUFFPLATE finish. For vertical lifting applications, order a brake winch, a worm gear winch, or a StrongArm electric winch without a clutch lever. D-L pulling winches are not recommended for lifting applications. For lifting, use a D-L brake or worm gear winch. D-L winches are not to be used as hoists for lifting, supporting, or transporting people, or for loads over areas where people could be present.image
