Dutton-Lainson's 24874 StrongArm SA-Series 12V DC electric winch is used for horizontal pulling applications only. This high-torque 12V DC motor has circuit-breaker overload protection. StrongArm DC electric winches have a dynamic motor brake as well as an automatic mechanical friction brake to securely hold the load. This electric winch features a 3,000 lb. single-line load capacity and a 4,500 lb. double-line load capacity. Other features include: "power in", "power out", controlled freewheeling clutch, 50' of 7/32" galvanized aircraft cable, pulley block with snap hook and an emergency crank handle in case of power loss. The clutch lever allows for smooth load control and easy cable removal. The winch is powered by your vehicle battery, using the included wiring harness (25' of positive battery wire and 8' of ground wire). Electric switch and clutch controls are conveniently located on the same side for easy operation. Note: This winch is built for horizontal pulling applications. For vertical lifting applications, order a winch with no clutch lever installed (price is the same). This winch has a maximum run time of 4 minutes. See owner's manual for more details.
