The follower inside this magazine is indeed for 5.56 x 45 millimeter nato cartridges or .223 remington cartridges, but does still take and run the .458 socom cartridges just fine for me. The magazine slides in and out nicely.

This mag Has a 223/556 follower. The lips are too close for the round and feeds the 458 at a 45' angle causing the brass to dig into the feed ramps. Put 223 in ad fire it as it is flawless. Sadly I can get 2 223 mags for the price of this mag. I high...
