The Eagle Type I Safety Can is perfect for storing flammable liquids. This 18.9 L (5gal.) galvanized steel safety can is perfect for containing flammable liquids. Made of heavy-gauge steel, finished in red baked-on powder coating. A brass flame arrester in the spout absorbs and dissipates heat, keeping vapor temperature below flash point. The spout cap is controlled by a strong, non-rusting spring that holds the cap tight to prevent leakage or evaporation, but permits excessive gas pressure to escape and automatically closes when pressure is relieved. Pressing the open device allows liquid to be poured from the no spill pouring lip. Made of galvanized steel, finished in red baked-on powder coating, the Eagle Type I Safety Cans are UL listed and FM approved, and complies with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.106, 1925.152 and NFPA Code 30.
