Product Info for Eberlestock Batwing Pouch
The Batwing Pouch is a great standalone pouch for storing various survival gear, particularly those items you may want to have accessible while you are out in the field. Rather than having them clipping into a pocket or carrying them inside a pack, these can be attached to the outside of a pack via the ones long zipper that runs down the center. This way you can attach it to another pack that has a longer strap, belt, or belt loop and just carry it like any other accessible pouch. The Batwing Pouch can zip shut, and two of these pouches include a short zippered stretch mesh pocket and a fleece-lined pocket. Finally, the Batwing Pouch has polyurethane-coated lash points on the inside of the pouch, so it can be hit with a monofilament hook or any other type of strap. This versatility allows you to mount these pouches inside other larger packs or use a removable sternum strap if you have them, or even use a monofilament strap if you have the space.
