Is the channel that runs the length of this rail deep enough to allow the use of the peep sights of the Tactical model, when there is no scope?

Im not sure if you will be able to pick up on peep sights or not. The valley of the rail sits .278" above the receiver.

This rail is great quality rail, but don't get it for a regular benelli nova because they are not already drilled and tapped. The screws are a benelli proprietary thread pitch and the heads of 8 32 screws don't fit. i will make this work.
