The Labwater Continuous Flow Kit provides a simple and economical solution for the continuous operation of flow-type settling tanks. This kit utilizes two highly polished steel hollow tubes with slots to allow the user to perform flow tests with a high degree of accuracy. Five different sized tubes are included in the kit to offer a wide variety of flow rates. Additional features include a three-way check valve to permit continuous operation with either one-way or two-way flow, selection of continuous or pulsatile flow options, an automatic purge valve to shut off the flow and a built-in overflow prevention device. The smooth bore design of the tubes and check valve provide an accurate flow path in and out of the settling vessel, a UV germicidal indicator for water quality, and a pressure gauge to limit back souring.
