The Vent Filter LC173 consists of a centrifuge with blower that draws in and circulates fluids, and a filter that reduces the carryover of airborne particulates. The vent filter reduces the flow of air through the lungs, while the filter paper allows the user to monitor the changes in the air. The flow is monitored by the color change in the water tank. The filter changes the color of the water to show changes in the absorbed dye. Used primarily for corrosive solution analysis, color changes in elga rf spectrophotometry, color differences in protein histograms, color changes in blotting after color changes, color differences between red and blue filters, and color changes in ELGINARS II blotting vessels.
