Eppendorf PCR-Plex Assortment Plates 96-well (wl) 96 well plates are designed for the thermal transfer of DNA and RNA. The direct PCR of an insert with attached plug is performed by applying a mandrel to the surface of the plate through the polypropylene plug. Because of the close proximity of the plug to the opening of the plate, a plug made of a polyester textile can be included. A polyethylene plug seals two openings of the 96-well plate to ensure a good physical security of the insert and a good chemical resistance. A polyethersulfone layer provides an additional level of protection against DNA based pyrolytic products. All surfaces of the plate are manufactured from medical grade, FDA grade, and pharmaceutical grade Eppendorf*. The Eppendorf LoPro® FXT* is a specialized lid for the 96-well Pcr plate to provide an increased level of protection against DNA based pyrolytic products.
