Product Info for Evolution Gun Works 1911 Barrel Block / Lock-up Gauge, .362 / .369, Aluminum

Enhance the quality of your pistol build by using this Evolution Gun Works 1911 Barrel Block / Lock-up Gauge, .362 / .369, Aluminum. Each of these Measuring Tools & Gauges by Evolution Gun Works are constructed from anodized aluminum for a strong tool that won't weigh you down on the workbench. You can use this EGW 1911 Barrel Block / Lock-up Gauge when checking for proper lock-up. The barrel block / lock-up gauge is a useful tool in the event you need to swap out a barrel on a 1911 Government and Commander pistol, and it can also be used as a gauge to properly align a barrel if you're doing a 1911 build yourself. Place the barrel in the gauge, and then place a dial indicator in the gauge to make sure the barrel stays properly in place while you perform your lock-up checks. This gauge is incredibly useful in the event you accidentally pop a lock-up and realign the barrel. Make sure you hold your barrel in the gauge as you'll never lose your accuracy without it. The hole in the gauge allows you to place a dial indicator on the barrel to make sure it's properly aligned as you check for lock-up using a gauge.
