What does it mean it doesn't have the pin hole? Will it not be ready to use right away? Will I have to drill my own? If so why is that an option? Manufacturer Answer

We offer part number 80244 which has the pin hole drilled in it. You could use that mount right away. If you get that mount and the pin hole does not line up with the factory pin location on the gun (there are inconsistencies on these rifles) then you would get the no pin hole mount and have a gunsmith drill the pin hole in the location to match your gun.

What is the difference between the 2 models? Expert Answer

The 80244 has a drilled pin hole. The 80244-U does not have this pin hole.

This detail allows the mount to rotate and tilt, and allows for great flexibility in mounting options.
