I’m assuming these barrels won’t work in the new Shield X with the 3.6 inch slide Manufacturer Answer

No, these barrels are designed to replace the 3.1" factory barrel and will be too short for the Shield X slide.

Will this work on my M&P9 shield plus with the Faxon Firearms EXOS-524 Pistol Compensator? I only ask as it shows a different length of barrel Manufacturer Answer

This barrel will fit in the M&P9 Shield Plus that has a factory barrel length of 3.1". This will not fit in the 4" M&P9 Shield Plus pistols.

I bought this to be able to add a compensator to my Shield Plus. It's a perfect fit and match. I have not had any issues while shooting at the range. I definitely recommend this product as an upgrade from the factory barrel.

Faxon Firearms' Match Series Barrels for M&P Shield provide a quick and easy upgrade to your M&P- Shield handgun. These barrels are manufactured in facility from raw bar stock to provide premium accuracy, fit, and finish. Faxon M&P Shield barrels feature signature "X" logo engraved on the top of the hood, with layered pocketing and caliber identification on the ejection port side. Both threaded and non-threaded versions feature straight fluting and are compatible with M&P Shield 1.0, 2.0, and the New Shield Plus. The Match Series Barrels for M&P Shield are backed by Faxon's Lifetime Guarantee.image
