Developed in 1957 the rimless, bottlenecked .223 Remington has become one of the most favored centerfired bullets in the USA and is used in a wide variety of semi-automatic and bolt-action rifles. First Breach's 5.56 NATO Ammo is unequal, no matter your skill level, and is a great value.
The 5.56 x45mm round was created from the .223 Remington cartridge. While near identical in appearance, there are some differences between 5.56mm NATO and .223 Remington rounds, the primary being that 5.56mm NATO is loaded at a higher pressure than .223 rounds. While 5.56 chambers are designed for the higher pressure, many .223 rounds are not, and therefore, it is not advisable to chamber 5.56 rounds in a .223.
Designed for sport shooting and varmint and small game hunting, the 5.56 is fun to shoot and offers very little recoil. First Breach's 5.56mm /.223 cartridges offer exceptional value at a great price. OpticsPlanet is pleased to offer this fine product as well as more great rifle cartridges from First Breach.
