The inspiration for the hooded jacket comes from our range of sleeping bags, the traditional mummy hood that is extremely warm and practical for a multitude of reasons. Made from a highly robust recycled nylon fabric that provides all-round protection with excellent performance. Padded with free fiber insulation, which is very warm for such a lightweight garment. The materials are highly recycled; the shell is made from recycled polyester and the lining from recycled polyester yarns. The padding provides excellent warmth-to-weight performance and retains loft extremely well, making it ideal for repeated use. The hood is made from two kinds of padding both work well with or without a helmet and is zippered so you can seal it closed when the temperature drops. The inside pocket is zippered so it can also be used as an inner pocket. The front zipper has an inside placket and the elastic hem can be adjusted with an elastic drawcord. When the jacket is not needed it can be worn with open front pockets or in the hand pockets. The inside pocket is also zippered so it can be used as an inner pocket.
