The FLIR First Mate Thermal Night Camera HM-307 is a compact, light weight, easy-to-use night vision camera. The Flir Thermal Night Vision Camera allows you to see clearly and without hassel in complete darkness. Smoke and light fog are not a problem for this portable camera. The Flir Long-Range Thermal Vision Camera uses thermal imaging technology to allow you to see obstacles when others cannot. This camera stores still images on the SD card and can detect a man standing up to 1,800 ft (550m) away! The FOV is 7° x 5° NTSC. The user interface includes an on/off/stand-by button and uses freeze frame technology. With 2x E-Zoom and auto-adjusting brightness, it is a done deal that the image with be clear. Not only is fog not an issue, battery life and temperature aren't either. The battery life while in operation is over 5 hours and while on stand by is about 120 hours (on NiMH batteries)! The Flir System Thermal Vision Camera can withstand temperature conditions ranging from -4°F to 140°F. With all these features and a two-year warranty it would be ridiculous not to buy at least one. It is a must-have for sailors, fisherman, or anyone exploring at night.![]()
