yes it will work but the magazine should be a glock mag with your bc9 lower. unless you got the colt style that I'm unaware of. you can even pair it with an ar15 mil spec multi cal lower and a skeletonized mean 9 mag. that's what I do.

The upper is great quality for the price point. I shot around 100 rounds so far with no problems. I never use the side charging handle out of habit but it's nice to have.
Put this on an Aero EP9 lower and it runs great. I installed an AS Designs vanilla super safety and 10oz KVP buffer and it chugs like a steam engine.
