Gorgeous holster for my Colt Python. Loved every aspect of it, especially the styling and the way it protects the gun. Unfortunately, the snap button on mine was defective. It would not “click” to snap the flap down.

A premium example of Galco's outdoor-carry options, the Big Iron is a luxurious yet highly efficient way to carry a large revolver in the field.image

Featuring premium steerhide construction, the smooth leather lining is gentle on the handgun and enhances the feel of the draw. The snapping flap protects and secures the revolver, and is easily released using the glove-friendly polymer tab.

Packaged with a polymer belt slot thats adjustable for belt width, a Belt Drop is also available as an option. It can increase the speed of the draw, sit clear of equipment ranging from rain gear to body armor, ride below a backpacks waist straps, and make the draw easier for short-waisted and/or female shooters. The Big Iron's leg thong is particularly useful when used in combination with the Belt Drop.
