Galcos new Orion Hunting Sling provides the shooting support of a marksmans sling while offering the reduced weight and comfort of a hunters sling. Proper use of a "marksman sling" improves field shooting accuracy by up to 30%, according to authorities such as Jeff Cooper. The Orion is very quick to "loop up" into a steady shooting position, with the weight of the rifle steadied by a tight "weld" to the support-side arm. The ability to make hits on game in the field is substantially increased with the use of the Orion Sling. Looping up to the supported firing position is simple and very quick, and the Orion allows both muzzle-up (American) and muzzle-down (African) shoulder carry.
