Because a T-connector has at least three port options, you can plumb one end of the connector and power it up from the other (typically located on the NMEA 2000 network). Any errors, misfires, or other network communication problems caused by the T-connector not being precise enough, causes the NMEA 2000 network to malfunction. A simple workaround is to simply remove the appropriate T-connector from the back of the boat and plug it into the back of the T-connector. Any further information will result in a poor connection.
