I want to buy a ptrofessionl built bow and arrow set for a 9 year old and a 5 year old. They have had some experience what set up would be best? Manufacturer Answer

Choose a bow model based on the archer's physical capabilities, keeping in mind that the Mini Genesis has a draw weight of 6-12 pounds and the Original Genesis has a draw weight of 10-20 pounds. Most 9 year olds would be capable of drawing back the Original Genesis; however, if the archer is small framed or just not had a growth spurt yet, the Mini Genesis might be better suited to this archer.

Just like the Original Genesis, the Mini offers zero let-off so that there is no set draw length. Rather, the Mini Genesis can be drawn to a wide range of lengths, whatever fits that particular young shooter. Yet, the zero let-off feature helps to pull the string from the fingers upon release, making it easy to shoot, and at only 2 pounds physical weight, the bow is easy for youngsters to draw and aim without getting fatigued. The kit includes the Genesis mini bow, color coordinated belt tube quiver, adjustable armguard, five aluminum arrows, two target faces and the informative owners manual.image
