The rail fit perfectly on my Bell & Carlson tactical stock, but I needed to cu an additional slot in the adaptor so that I could mount my Atlas bipod. I do not know why they would not cut picatinny rails down the entire length of the adapter.

This adapter is designed to only work with their bi-pods rendering this completely useless for any other application. I think the response below from their customer support sums it up pretty well.

Fit well on my m1a scout squad. Only had to file down the front screw for the op rod to clear it, less 1/16 inch. My AMERICAN DEFENSE MFG bipod mount had no issue mounting.

GG&G Extreme Duty Bipod Adapter Rails come in a variety of styles for light and heavy caliber applications, so you can attach a bipod to your favorite carbine or rifle. These bipod adapters are precision machined from 6061 T6 billet aluminum and Type III hard anodized matte black to meet mil-spec. Each model of GGG Extreme Bipod Mount includes all the miscellaneous mounting hardware and pins required for specific applications; accessory hardware is manufactured from steel and coated as needed.
