Is this flush for a 18.5 remington express ? Expert Answer

The GG&G Shot Magazine Tube Extension for Remington 870 will not fit flush with the Remington 870 Tactical models that have the 5 or 7 round magazine tubes.

I ordered the 2 shot extension for my 870 18” but the spring seems too long? I’m am unable to load more than 4 shells.

The spring is "long" but the larger issues is that the base Remington follower (if you're using that) is getting stuck on the indents meant to lock the original spring cap in place. You will need an alternate follower.
