Is this flush for a 18.5 remington express ?

The GG&G Shot Magazine Tube Extension for Remington 870 will not fit flush with the Remington 870 Tactical models that have the 5 or 7 round magazine tubes.

The spring is "long" but the larger issues is that the base Remington follower (if you're using that) is getting stuck on the indents meant to lock the original spring cap in place. You will need an alternate follower.

Is this parkerized or blued steel

Material: Unlike the competition, the magazine extension tube nut is CNC machined from wear resistant solid steel bar stock versus aluminum.
Finish: The unique magazine tube extension nut is manganese phosphated in a non–reflective combat finish per Mil-Spec.
Material: The magazine extension tube is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum
Finish: Type III hard anodized non-reflective matte black per Mil-Spec.
