With the GG&G QD Sling Thing Sling Attachment For Dovetails, you can quickly remove the rifle sling from your AR-15, M-16, or AC rifle. This dovetail sling mount gives your AR quick detach capabilities. The GG&G Sling Thing QD Attachment answers the need of special ops and SWAT teams for an easy way to mount a sling to dovetail rails of tactical forearms, and was specifically developed for that purpose. If your mission requires that the sling to be quickly detached from the weapon, GG&G Tactical has the answer: the GGG Quick Detach Sling Thing For Dovetails.
The GG&G Sling Thing Rail Sling Adapter provides the flexibility of quickly detaching the gun sling by the use of a rugged 1 1/4" QD sling swivel which is included in the package. These GG&G sling swivels are bead blasted and manganese phosphated in a non-reflective matte black mil-spec finish. When coupled with the GG&G QD Rear Sling Thing, the sling can be quickly removed from the weapon. The side mount sling swivel provides the flexibility to mount the front sling attachment anywhere on the rails of the tactical forearm that meet the mission requirement. This dovetail mounting capability means you can choose between side mount sling swivel or top mounted convenience. As with all GG&G Sling Things, this side sling mount provides a lightweight, durable, easy-to-install and inexpensive method for front sling attachment. It is manufactured from tough 7075 billet aluminum, alloy and is Type III black hard-coat anodized per mil-spec
The GGG Quick Detach Dovetail Sling Thing is available with the following swivel choices:
