GG&G QD Sling Thing Sling Attachment Swivels are made to fulfill the growing needs of tactical operators for a quick-detach sling swivel. Combining that need with the widely accepted principle that tactical slings should be mounted on the side of the weapon, the GG&G Quick-Detach Sling Things provide an ideal mounting position for attaching a rifle sling to AR15 style rifles. The GG&G Front And Rear Sling Things are lightweight, durable, easy-to-install and inexpensive mounts that let you attach a sling to your AR or AC.

The standard GG&G QD Front Sling Thing easily installs onto the AR15/M16's "A-frame" front sight assembly, on either the right or left sides using socket head cap screws. Mounted high in this manner "rifle roll" is completely prevented. The GG&G QD Rear Sling Thing is designed for easy attachment to the AR15/M16 collapsible stock in the same manner. Both the front and rear GG & G Sling Thing Quick Detachment Swivel Sling Attachments use a coated 1 1/4 inch sling swivel that are bead blasted and manganese phosphated in a non-reflective matte black mil-spec finish. Manufactured from tough 6061 T6 billet aluminum alloy, the body of theGGG Sling Things are Type III hard-coat anodized in a matte black combat finish. The GG&G Sling Thing Front is compatible with the Surefire Millennium 500 flashlight forearm.
