Giottos Series II QR Dual Thread Tripod Ballhead MH3300-658 is an excellent way to take minute control of your tripod's panning, tilting, and device mounting capabilities. These smooth-panning tripod accessories feature a calibrated base that allows you to calculate your angle and a hollow socket ball that facilitates fluid movement. Independent ball lock and pan lock knobs are situated on either side of the Giottos tripod accessory to secure your shot once you get the right angle. Even the camera plate of the Giottos Series II Ball Head adds to your tripod's versatility. Almost any camcorder or digital camera can be mounted to your Giottos tripod using the dual 1/4" and 3/8" threads on this tripod ballhead, giving you great creative freedom when you're planning your shoot. What's more, Giottos has included the Giottos MH658 Quick Release Adapter on this tripod head, which allows you to disengage and mount devices on the fly, with no unscrewing necessary.
