Gitzo Systematic Series 5 Giant 6-Section Overhead Level Tripod GT5562GTS is the largest tripod made by Gitzo; the tripod is modular, with a flat center disk that can be interchanged for center columns, leveling bases and other components. Because it has leg angle settings but no column as standard, this Gitzo tripod is capable of near-ground level shooting. The leg tubes of the Gitzo Systematic V Giant 6-Section Modular Tripod are made from 6X carbon fiber and equipped with Gitzo's efficient G-locks. The GT5562GTS is a Gitzo Series 5 tripod designed for strength and torsional rigidity under extreme loads of up to 88 pounds and with lenses up to 800mm. With 6-section legs fully open, the tripod reaches overhead level even without using a center column, but it can also be splayed close to ground level thanks to its independent leg angle settings.
