X-Small - 6 & 7 spine. The Gold Tip Pin Bushing accepts standard pin nocks, such as the ATS, and protects the arrow shaft from damage. Allows for use of pin nocks on Gold Tip arrow shafts. The bushing serves as a bushing for a "pin" nock to achieve the lowest spin rate possible for the nock to achieve maximum accuracy. When the arrow shaft is impacted at a downward angle, the energy of the impact causes a 'shock' (puff of energy) within the arrow shaft. The energy of the impact causes a 'bushing' within the shaft. This is why it is important to always check your arrow shafts for nock compatibility before purchasing or constructing an arrow shaft.image
