Make life a little easier with the Grizzly Milling Vise w/ Swivel Base that enables you to slide the Milling Vise into any convenient location and firmly lock it in place. The universal mounting base with cast iron "V" bar accepts a full range of Milling Clamps and a number of other brand names that have similar mounting bolt specifications. The Milling Vise clamping system is the most rigid and secure method of mounting workpieces to a Milling Machine. By mounting the workpiece directly to the faceplate, the clamping system virtually eliminates any movement in the form of a rolling vise. Since the Milling Vise clamps flat against a bowl, a flexible clamping bar can be placed against the workpiece to hold it in place. This improves clamping accuracy since the load is spread over a larger area. The vise also has a travel indicator on the handle so you can micro-adjustment as needed. Two wing nuts with cast iron "V" bars provide a sure, stable method of mounting. Simply tighten the nuts until the workpiece is secure. Swivel nuts with square noses (not included) rotate to lock into place. Simple instructions for mounting are provided.
